The Extreme Trades Makeover: Future Welders program is a competition that awards three Alabama High School vocational/trade teachers with $30,000 in welding equipment or other upgrades. This is to help their students become skilled in the high-demand welding trade in the hopes that more people will gain interest in joining the nuclear-powered submarine fleet in the U.S. Navy.

This project was create a logo for the program that emphasized welding in relation to submarines. The program is tech-forward, so it was important to keep things streamlined while keeping the high school target audience in mind.
