This packaging was a personal project in response to a cat café being opened in Middle Tennessee at the time I was there. I started with the logo for an imaginary cat café called Cat in a Cup and got inspired by a coffee stain that had a splash mark that looked like a tail. I knew I wanted the packaging itself to be vibrant. I continued the theme of “splashes” by creating abstract designs with paw prints walking across the coffee bag and another coffee stain to contain the flavor and roast.
